i was fishing in a very small pond, like smaller than a football field and i caught a 14 lb catfish using a live bluegill on a steel liter fishing for bass which i had already caught 3 of(4-5lbs.).

Chicken livers tied onto treble hooks with spider wire. :) Tight lined, no sinkers.
