@Pathetikos any singer who's been well through gisela rohmert's method, yes: even much older singers and on much better pitch. i didn't say i don't like it at all anyway.
-
she's terribly out of pitch and maybe the piano is not the right instrument to support this piece, nice feeling anyway.

With drooping eyes? That sounds kinda scary. You mean 'With drooping wings'. A great chorus worthy of following this aria.
-
I'd say this tuning is very good, for what I've heard. This piece is kind of a a b*tch that way :/
-
Esta voz y esta aria, son sencillamente, hermosas...
-
it is all out of tune, without any support,
great feeling though

Wow, indeed. Bravo Berganza, indeed. Thank you for an exceptional post.

Oooooohhhhhh......wow!
Thank you thank you thank you.
Sang this whole part two years ago in France, an open air performance, and at this final aria it went cold and dark and the wind blew a little to rough, and that was soooo amazingly beatifull for the interpretation of this aria that I almost cried myself during singing. When I am laid in earth while actually having to deal with the power of earth itself.
With drooping eyes...etc...pfff, snif.

@toxscreenisclean Well, she's 60 years old here. Can you imagine ANY of today's "star" sing with such a voice in their 60ies?
