Marry Me:

I couldn't see anything; my eyes were being blocked by Joe's hands. His gentle voice was guiding me as we continued walking to somewhere that Joe promised would be special. "Demi" His voice was so calming when he called my name. "Can I open my eyes now?" I asked him. He giggled a little and let go. I slowly opened my eyes to see the mesmerizing clear green fields in front of me and feel the soft wind blow. I looked at Joe who was smiling at me; I smiled back but still had no idea why we were here. "Tell me again why you brought me here?" I asked him once again for the nth time. He looked around the fields before locking his eyes on me. He pointed up to the blue sky "Look up and you'll find out"

I did as he told me. I looked up at the vague blue skies with my heart beating fast. I saw a jet plane hastily writing the letters M-A-R-R-Y-M-E-D-E-M-I. And with those letters my eyes were over taken by tears, tears that I'd thought I would never feel for this kind of occasion. I looked down at Joe who was on one knee, holding a beautiful diamond ring and slowly he asked me the question every girl wants to hear. "Demetria Devonne Lovato, will you be my love forever?" I tried to pull in my tears to answer him but nothing would come out, so instead I just hugged him. "So I guess that's a yes" he jokingly said. "Obviously" I said with my shaking voice. He put the ring on my ring finger as we passionately kissed each other under the setting sun. Ready to be with each other forever, spending every second together is the best thing that I have ever felt.
