Isa is not the Jesus of the God's Word. Yes, the name of Jesus is written in many other books. Should we accept those books as from God also. Many of those books are satanic books, like the Quran. The Isa of the Quran is called a prophet. The Jesus of God's Word is the Son of God. That's a huge difference. No, the Isa of the Quran is NOT the Jesus, the Son of God of the Bible.

Unfortunately the ISA/Jesus of the muslim faith is NOT the Jesus Christ who died on the cross and rose again on the third day.

Either RW is ignorant and should not be a pastor or he is being politically correct, and still should not be a pastor (at least not a pastor for the Almighty God of the bible).

I dont agree with rick warrens teachings or robert schuller. But i do like bill hybels of willow creek. I love the contemporary rock style music of a seeker sensitive church and i do like rob bell. I reject brian mc.larren doth paggit tony jones and mark driscoll. Doctrinally i am amyraldism 4 point calvinist. I am against muslims icons contemplative prayer. This is what god has revealed to me

this is not the time for him to be at all reciting things (whatever it may be) from the quran, as our nation elects a president that has islamic name, and shakey background! btw what was he doing there in the first place? I know the Lord wants us to honor our leaders, but what he did was not a mistake! he knew exactly what he was doing! it's deciet at it's most confusing point, and that is what he did, he confused all of us which is not of God!

If 'you' believe this then you are just as mixed up as Mr. Warren is, because this particular verse IS NOT telling or asking anyone to 'substitute' the name of JESUS CHRIST for any other name, it means something totally different here. Warren seems as if he's trying to 'pacify' these folks at ALL costs, and the Lord IS NOT in favor of this. It's either "in the name of Jesus Christ" or it's not and that's that.

I'm don't particularly enjoy Rick Warren's teaching or style. But he's just practicing 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 ("...I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some".) I'd also recommend people re-read Paul's meeting of the Areopagus (Acts 17:16-34), along with a careful look at the terms and stories Jesus used to reach people in the Gospels in historical context. Most of the criticism thrown at men like Warren is pharisaical, religious, soulish and foolish.

@Itsfaith33 It isn't complicated at all. Jesus as described and declared in the BIBLE (Old and New Testament) is not ISA as described in the KORAN. It isn't a matter of semantics but salvation.
