Barroso on Irish Vote: All EU Member States Now Approved Treaty

Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, on Saturday was thrilled to be able to welcome the outcome of the vote of the Irish people in the referendum on the Lisbon Treaty. According to the official results, 67 percent of the Irish approved the treaty after it was put to the vote for a second time in 15 months.

The Irish yes vote means that all of Europe LOST and only the EU's wealthy burocrats (Barrosso gets 230,000 Euros a year) WON.

ROMANIAN HUMAN TRAFFICKING INTO IRELAND

3 men will be sentenced in Romania for trafficking Romanians into Ireland for labour exploitation.

Remus Fusteac 41, his son Arthur Sergiu 21, and his nephew, Alexandru 20, were charged with human trafficking, running organised crime syndicate, money laundering and possession of firearms.

They were arrested and charged after a joint investigation by the Gardaí and the police in Romania.

They face up to 15 years in prison.
