Just to clear this up the sony sr10e records in 1080 interlaced or 1080i (50 frames per second interlaced) It has a single Cmos sensor unlike panasonics 3ccd light sensor technology. 40GB HD one Hot shoe port, 5.1CH surround recording.

Dude you are wrong, the SR10 has 3CCD, liekt he others. Only a bit lower resolution and less hard disk space, thus external mic. input, hot shoe, and a external headset.

Hi,
The difference is the CCD chip which finally will determines the quality of the video. The SR10 got 1 CCD and the SR11/12 got both 3 CCD.
You only feel difference when your filming something with a lot of light or less light.

i dont believe in you. yes they do record the same resoultion, but they are different because of the pixels which is the quality. come on. read cnet to find out.
