No-one but me would recognize most of what he's singing (except for the places where he throws in about 6-7 notes from "Some Enchanted Evening") - but he's actually practicing small snippets of opera. I've been teaching him the Aria "Un Bel Di" from Madama Butterfly - and have heard him repeat some of it in the early morning. When I was setting up this video I suddenly realized that some of the random "lalala's" were actually from the Aria, just not in correct order.

  • I just love George's "la la la"s! Funny, pretty and sweet at the same time.

  • Thank you! Oh... and guess what!?!?! Just about half an hour ago ... just before "bedtime", George rendered the first 16 note of "Un Bel Di" perfectly (not the Italian, you understand... just "lalalalal" - but the melody was unmistakable. Hope I can get that on film soon!
