  • This is definitely not what an engineer does. This guy is a linesman there is a HUGE difference.

  • Seriously! I am sick of people using the term Engineer whenever they want.

  • to rappel on tall posts is such a cool profession... =)

  • @supercooldude300 haha yeah this looks like a blue collar worker. not a professional that does any real engineering

  • flip sake. this is so true IN THE U,K engineer is seen s the man who fixes, installed things. THAT IS NOT AN ENGINEER.

  • I am currently studying a degree in engineering. in electronic and electrical engineering to be exact. and this video is very arrogant. would you call a brick layer an architect/structural engineer. of course you wouldn't. no offence to theses guys. but they are brick layers.

so my point is this. anybody watching this video that is interested in engineering pay no attention to this. this is not engineering this is craft.

  • @cristoretorne biblia It is easy to distinguish the two by looking at their salaries. That guy installs tv aerials (and very importantly, cameras)in the rain and is maybe on 24K a year. The engineer designs the cable he installs and the camera too from behind a desk and earns anything from 30-70K plus.

  • In the UK they love painting the term engineer over everything. This dude is a linesman and he says so too. It is both highly annoying and confusing to employers. If you didn't do a degree at a university qualifying you as an engineer, you are not one.

  • @Spart1998 i totally agree its so annoying im studdying electrical engineering and this is not it lmfao

  • @MrWampusLOL! A lot of construction workers are like that in America. Electricians conidering themselves as Electrical Engineers. Laborers, carpenters, masons and foremen considering themselves as Construction Engineers and Civil Engineers.

  • @cristoretornebiblia Tupeutlatesla is right. Engineering is defined as the application of math and science. MIT has a large EE department. You can just look up some of their videos on YT about circuits or electricity and magnetism and you'll see why. As far as that cable installation guy goes, I'm not surprised. It's because of idiots like him and this jackass in the video that people are leaving all of these comments in the first place.
