Blu-ray Disc とはソニー・松下電器産業・シャープなどが「Blu-ray Disc Association」で策定した青紫色半導体レーザーを使用する新世代光ディスク規格である。

DURABIS はDURABILITY とSHIELD からの造語で、優れた耐久性が表現されている。キズに強く、スチールウールで100回や200回擦ったぐらいでは影響がほとんどないほどの耐久性を持つ。また、指紋汚れや­チリ･埃が着きにくいとされる。

DVDに最適化したものを「DURABIS1」、BD用を「DURABIS2」、放送用を「DURABIS PRO」としている。DURABIS技術は次世代光ディスク向けに開発された技術であり、後にDVD、BD用途へと採用された。既にDVD-Rなどで『超硬』『UV超硬』­ブランドを掲げた製品を発売しており、2006年4月18日に「DURABIS2」を採用したBD-R/REディスクを発売した。

the first playstation is the playstation not the psx the psx came after ps2 and yes sony products are good but thier quality dropped recently the new psp 2000 on sale now are breaking easily and so are the newer ps3s but the older ones are fine and i hope the psp 3000 coming out will be as good as the ps2 in terms of quality

I have sony TV which is 14 years old and it still works, I have PSX (the first playstation) and it still works, I have a lot of Sony stuff that still works, I don't know maybe it's your experience.
