The West Hawaii Aquarium Project was established to conserve Hawaii's aquarium reef fish. Research is conducted by a consortia of scientists led by Dr. Bill Walsh at the Hawaii Division of Aquatic Resources in Kailua-Kona, HI. Other scientists include Dr. Brian Tissot at Washington State University, Dr. Ivor Williams at the University of Hawaii and a host of others.
