Andy's Driving videos around Derbyshire, UK :
Are you an ex-pat of Derbyshire, feeling homesick? Or perhaps you just want a clear way of giving someone directions to a location in Derbyshire or just want to show people your village. Well in this video and the many others I have made, you will be able to take a virtual drive around the streets as though you were in the driving seat. I use a dash-mounted camera, Traffic lights and heavy traffic have been edited out.

  • Thanks for that. I enjoyed your trip though felt uneasy passing through junctions as I couldn't check that there was no traffic coming in from your right hand side. This must have been a Bank Holiday as your description says it was a Monday but there are no cars parked on the left hand side of Derby Road outside the Moore's Dental Practice. Good work. Well done.

  • @trickymicky333 Hi, Glad you liked it. Yes it always feels strange watching "virtual driving" as you are not able to check its safe to move on. Yes that was a bank holiday.

  • I live in Sawley(about 3 mins from where the video started! been in and around Long Eaton 12 years now lol))!...i watched it and it was very good lol....i was looking out for my 4x4 lol

  • @Striker1973666 Thanks. My video before this one goes through Sawley Check it out.

  • a nice video, can i ask what camera you are using? the quality seems very good. is the camera mounted inside or outside? is it a bullet cam by any chance?

  • @rajsta Its a dirt cheap Toshiba Camileo Pro HD camcorder. Mounted inside right up against the glass.
