  • Small wire cages that drive animals crazy to the point they spin wildly back and forth should be ILLEGAL. This is not ethical, at all. Get bigger, stimulating cages that allow animals to run, dig, swim, play and explore- then and only then can you dare to call this stuff 'ethical'.

  • @Cursico You see that kind of footage because animals get excited when they see humans because = FOOD TIME!!! It's like a dog or a cat getting excited when they know they will get fed. The space a mink has in a cage is the equivalent of a hamster in a cage.

  • WTF!?! its 2012. Why are humans still wearing fur. Why are you fucks still doing this? I hope some sociopathic rapist skins you and wears you hide in the name of fashion

  • @MPGnowles wow, who's the sociopath here? LOL You do no good to your cause with your idiotic comments

  • Yeah, the chinese do it because they're cheap douches..in the west, we would never. Easy for those in cities who have never had to farm to look down upon this life. My uncle has a mink farm, he does it because that's what he's always done. No post-secondary education. And he doesn't have the option of just "shutting down", it's just not an option. We caught some pro-PETA 'tards trying to set loose our mink, lets just say they have guts until they are caught, then they cry.

  • @Little123Fizz You're the naive one, Animals aren't skinned alive. They're gassed. Skinning alive happens very rarely in rural areas such as Asia. Skinning alive ruins the coat. No fur farmer would be stupid enough to skin alive. I suggest you do some actual research that ISN'T propaganda and maybe you'll get the whole truth, and not what PeTA has fed you.

And no, I wouldn't make a good coat, but a couple bunny rabbits would. ;)

  • @fantard100 Oh and no, animals are not skinned alive, it's unnecessary cruelty and not the way thinds are done in the fur trade.

  • @fantard100 You mean look at THAT ONE video from a fur farm in China. Not all furs come from China, and most of them who are exported from China are made with the highest quality pelts. Chinese buy the pelts from Northern cold countries, manufacture in China and export the final product. Animal right activists are playing on words ("furs come from China". At least be informed if you want to have this debate.

  • @bluecmango You are right, an informed customer will want to know where their fur comes from, I'm all for that! There are a lot of labels to look for: OA, Beautifully Canadian, NAFA, American Legend, Saga... You should also know that China buy their pelts from countries with high standards of animal welfare, because it's the best way to guarantee a high quality fur. In doubt, ASK!! ;))

  • this farm is all well and good, but what about all the fur that comes from asia? No rules there

Or what about the crappy Finland fur farms

When you buy fur... how do you know?

  • @majesticmoonrise

If you have the intention to live like a cave man do so. However, the rest of humanity is past this.

  • See how much this cunt would like it if she was killed for her scalp.
