@IsabelleLutze this anime is somewhat complicated. Based on what i remember when i was watching this before, the two couples of the story were sort of a reincarnation of two lovers in the past. It seems that the guy promised to be with the girl forever. But in the first part of the story was the new era while on the near end of the story was sort of a flashback. I think the guy died first on the past life but it is the opposite one on the new era.
