EVE PVP - Officer fit Nightmare gets ganked.

We took out a 12 man hac gang with logi support and went for a little roam in syndicate, hopefully to find some other fleet to kill. We ended up camping the Orvolle gate in PF- for some time, and killing a few random things, including a Cynabol and some t1 cruiseres.

However, as fate would have it, a random noobship lands in the bubble cluster surrounding the orville gate. In our mad rush to whore in on the killmail, we burned off gate just as a NIGHTMARE faction Battleship jumps in. "!@#$ back to gate!!!!!" Sadly, the Nightmare makes it back and jumps to safety. Deeply saddned by missing a nightmare, we remained on gate, collecting some more trash kills.

About 30 minutes goes by, and that nightmare is STILL at zero on the PF gate in Orville. Suddenly, and without warning, our scout screams the Nightmare has jumped into PF. Luckily, this time EVERYONE was on gate in position. Rapier webs + bump + wtfpwnsauce ensues.

TLDR version: PATIENCE GETS THE NIGHTMARE KILL

Awesome job guys. He was trying his ass off to keep that ship alive, but in the end, we know he was like, "I f@#$ing quit, go ahead and kill my pod." 4.3bil loss sucks big time. Ya'll made out on some nice loots though!
