On August 4, 2009, over 6 inches of rain fell in less than 2-hours which caused significant street flooding in parts of Louisville, Kentucky. Each frame depicts 10 minutes of accumulated rainfall based on 1 KM radar imagery. The video starts about 7:00 am and ends about 5:00 PM, when most of the rain had stopped. One MSD rain gauge measured a rainfall rate of 8.88 inches per hour. Total rainfall measured by one MSD rain gauge that day was 6.97 inches. Watch full screen in HD for the best quality.
