its because the belmont line almost disappeared in OoE
and tbh shanoa is one of my favorite castlevania characters (second to Trevor.)
shes an original character so im happy it wasnt just another belmont.
also, the people of the town in OoE were decendants of the belmonts.

@unstoppable295 Yeah, but I don't understand why Konami didn't gave her (and Albus and Barlowe) a NAME. Did you noticed that EVERY CV character - even the rare ones - (exept for the (un)dead) have a name? Even Isaac (Laforeze) and Hector from CoD had surnames. I will accept if she will be a Belmont, a Morris or even a Danasty but there is NOTHING! And Albus and Barlowe? I'm glad that in the new game a Gabriel Belmont (<-) will be the hero....

@fenestes Yeah but she faught of and BEAT dracula when the BELMONTS disappeared!If it wasn't for ECCLESIA after the Belmonts randomly disappeared Dracula would've continued.So bravo to Shanoa,Albus,and Barlowe.
