MEET MIKE SONG..........

As a child, growing up in Torrance, California , Mike Song was inspired to dance by the likes of American artists such as Michael Jackson and Usher as well as Korean artists such as HOT and Yoo Seung Jun . At first, he only displayed his moves at church alleys, radio show contests, and whenever he was on the losing end of a bet. However, w hen he entered UC irvine in 2004 as an economics major, he joined Kaba Modern, which changed his life. In a few short years, he became director of Kaba Modern . During his year as director in 2007, Kaba Modern won 1 st Place in the USA at Hip Hop Internationals , and 2 nd Place in the World. Mike went on to represent the team in the first season of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew . Since then, he has traveled extensively (both domestically and internationally), to perform and teach, and hopefully, inspire others to dance and promote positivity .




He has also judged and battled at various dance events. In 2007, Mike won 1 st place at the Annual In the Spotlight Battle in Southern California . Mike has taught workshops in Guam , Canada , Switzerland, Germany, Norway , Hawaii , Mexico, South Africa , and continues to travel and teach around the world. Mike is currently the artistic director of Kaba Modern Legacy and a choreographer/dancer for Culture Shock Los Angeles and Kallusive Dance Crew.
