Anytime I see handicap kids, they are with a caretaker. Not on a damn leash or harness. Your arguments are stupid. It is a fact that leashes and harnesses are sold for animals. The same hand that can hold a leash can instead hold a childs' hand. Lets hear the next excuse!

You know what? Thats bull. I just got a saftey harness for my 18m old. Im pregnant with my second child and my daughter refuses to constantly hold my hand, it wears her arm out and I can't hold her for long periods because Im pregnant and bcuz shes quite heavy. Its how the parent uses the harness not the harness itself. Its safer for the kid and anyone who critisizes and makes fun of parents using them are no different then a high school snob.

I think the only time that is appropriate to put your kid in a leash is when you're somewhere really busy or crowded and have more than one young child. HAVE YOU EVER TRIED LOOKING AFTER SMALL CHILDREN THAT ARE TOO EXCITED TO LISTEN TO YOU!!?!?! You can teach them to be obedient but that goes out the window when they're excited.
