Strasburg Railroad Opening Day Weekend 2010

High Quality- I took my first trip of the season to the Strasburg Railroad on Sunday, February 14th, during the Opening Day weekend. The wind was howling, the wind chill was somewhere around 15 degrees...but in the end it was worth it. The locomotive running this day was CN #89, wearing a B&O 3 Chime whistle. A rare experience occurred during one of the trips. On our way back from Leaman Place, 89 could not get up the hill, thanks to the slippery rails. We were forced to back up to Leaman Place twice to get a running start, and after the 3rd attempt, we finally made it. Enjoy this rare taste of riding the rails on the Strasburg Railroad!

thats not a B&O 3 chime, ALL B&O whistles weree side mount, this is a CN 3 chime, it has CNR on the bowl

@srr7312 I also heard someone at 3:16, if you lisen railroad close, you can here him say "Maybe they'll bring the 31 in and hook on to 89 and do a double header".
