CN 2408 North on the Leithton sub by West Chicago on 4-17-2011

A GE C40-8M is the lead unit of a long mixed freight.

I had just finished my videoing the UP Safety Special. I was about to pack up when I decided to check the ATCS Monitor for the Leithton sub which runs under where I was perched on the overpass. It appeared as if a train had a line-up to run north. So I listened a bit closer to my scanner and sure enough, JB tower soon had this one set to run by me.

I hardly ever post long videos like this. But I thought I'd let it go. You folks know where the stop button is or how to skip forward. And it's a mixed freight so there are at least some different cars. Also, I was able to cut to the different cameras to keep it somewhat interesting. Although the tight shooting environment makes the going away shot not too exciting.
