Experimental timelapse video of tomato plants moving towards sunlight as they grow (phototropism). This was taken over a period of several hours this morning. One frame was taken every 6 seconds.

  • i dont know why but it just makes me laugh. It reminds me of like 25 people watching a comet go by in slow motion, lol.

  • That is very interesting. I have an indoor tomato plant. It's about 2.5ft tall right now. Every leaf, every branch, the whole plant tilts and twists itself to face out the window. And it also seems like the leaves and fruits are only growing on the side that faces the window; the "back" has only one branch.
