Enjoy this slideshow from our first overseas trip! In Beijing, we stayed in Zhaotangzi Hutong, and visited the Forbidden City, Beihai Park, Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple, Donyue Temple, Ancient Observatory, Silk Market, Hou Hai, and had some amazing food- imperial cuisine at Li Jia Cai, Peking duck at Quan Ju De, fantastic homemade noodles at Noodle Loft, where Anthony Bourdain visited on his trip to Beijing, and several food stalls throughout the city, including the one at Wangfujing Snack Street, where we tried grilled scorpions for the first time.
