@StoogeWatcher, Wouldn't it be nice if they practiced what they preached. I'm glad Essence is opening up the door to diversity at 40. Oprah has a diverse staff, Obama has a diverse staff, Russ Simmons has a diverse staff. We can't keep asking for diversity and then keep an all-black staffs our damn-selves. A qualified professional was hired who happened to have worked for O magazine as well. Please freeze-frame on the double standard, it's unbecoming, out of style, and shows off all your flaws.
