Man bites dog! Cyclist waiting for green light narrowly avoids death as Sir Robert McAlpine van blasts through red!

(OK, that's how the Daily Mail might report it). But you do have to wonder if Sir Robert McAlpine's transport managers or the Quartermile people are happy having vans driven like this en-route to site. What if it had been the green man instead and a pram or OAP was mown down?

Stupid, dangerous and needless, the sooner he is caught and removed from behind the wheel the better, and his transport manager will probably agree!

The van driver is a hard working, upstanding model citizen who should be left alone to make these "mistakes" as he pleases, OR he should be hunted down and brought to justice (just down the road from here, a motorist got 6 points for jumping a red - no FPN offered).
