I can't imagine how much he suffered to wear those rings - there is a reason pianists usually have NO jewlery on. but somehow he did it.

@eg3612 actually, the song begins in the key of C and then transitions into F when it goes into Roll Out the Barrel. So, play your arpeggios in the key of G (G-B-D-F).

@ugottheblues you are correct, those are arpeggios he is doing at the very beginning. I know the song to be played in the key of F; therefore, I would play my arpeggios as alternating 7th chords in the key of C up and down the piano. Starting with your left hand, play these notes: C-E-G-Bb. Then your right hand will play the same notes as you move up and down piano. Does this make sense? It will take time to master this. Once you do, you can use it with many other songs. Happy playing!

ok what is that fast effect he does at the beginning from :00-:12? i know it's something with arpeggios but how exactly do you get that effect? can anyone help me out?
