  • First, the buttons are contact switches IE pressing harder on the buttons will not have ANY effect whatsoever. If anything you'll crack the switches which WILL end up breaking your Roomba. You do not need to press and hold the buttons in. Second, along the front "bumper" there are several infared eyes that detect a cliff. These keep it from falling down stairs etc. The way its acting those sensors are covered in dust.

  • looks like its getting lazy. have you been feeding him properly? maybe take him to a vet. expensive i know, but you can't put a price on love.

  • stop using it to clean your pussy

  • HAHAHA! "i'm pressing the button REALLY hard".... cause the manufacturers designed the button to work EVEN BETTER if you mash it really hard. LOL!

  • First of all if you push too hard you will end up breaking it even MORE. Second do you still have to box? well if you do call irobot and ask for a reaplacement. Third im sorry about roomba and hope you get him/her fixed. Any way do you have a name for it? reply if you do.

  • I think maybe you are pressing the buttons too hard 1.

  • @secrettrance Also, my diagnosis for the button issues may be that the bumper connection may be loose. Roomba doesn't like to run without its bumper.

  • Even though this video is three years old, I still feel the need to point out that if you weren't in such a rush to push buttons that you would hear a series of beeps after the "uh oh" noise. The number of beeps will indicate what the specific issue with your disc is. You can check the support section on irobot's website for in depth information about the number of beeps and the issues they represent.

  • Wheel sensors need to be cleaned

  • Get a man to look at it for you. Possibly a techno geek. Looks to me it needs cleaning of the sensors and or trash wedged somewhere.

  • lol
