  • Can anyone who speaks Hungarian tell me what the comment below means in English? I tried google translate but it is still a jumbled grouping of words. Some problem concerning the methyl group and CheR and CheB?

  • There is a slight mistake in this video. Second step of desensitization is carried out by CheB not CheR. Similarly, last step of methylation is done by CheR and not CheB. After, autophosphorylation of CheA to CheAp, it transfers its phosphoryl group to CheY as well as to CheB which greatly enhances its activity. CheBp then demethylates the receptor to desensitize it. Its a feedback loop. CheB and CheR are involved in adaptation of receptors which allows bacteria to move up the gradient.

  • Szemléletes videó, egy problémám van vele, tudomásom szerint a CheR a metil csoportot rápakolja az Mcp-re, és a CheB szedi le.
