What I don't understand is how in the universe do our outbound satellites like Voyager and the like get through the asteroid belt. How do they navigate through the hyper-active asteroid activity between Mars and Jupiter?

ive seen alot of times these lights in sky, they moved very fast...last week one of them was really bright...i was like Oh look at this star...when we lokked its star to dissaper and it moved to the west... :O weird
