From freediving and swimming with sharks, and speaking to local Maui spearfishermen, I'd say you have made the truest Youtube comment I have seen about sharks.
Uncoordinated movements and splashing, without strong or any eye contact... give a totally different message
(ie- 'Eat me!').
Predators tend to respect each other.

I think one of the reasons that he hasn't been attacked in the water is that it seems like sharks do not like to be looked at, right in the eye. In nature, if you face off on your opponent, there is less likely a chance of a fight.

I have never watched this. But there are some really nice video captured pictures. It is kinda really cute how curious they are, especially my favorite, the great white shark.
Such a majestic animal.

I've been watchin' Shark Week since I was a kid. Shark Week 07 was the best one I've seen yet, and it was 100% because of Sharkman. That show gave me goosebumps from start to finish.

You don't hit a shark to show your boss. If you do the shark could beat the shit out of you to show that your not boss but he is. LOL
