Nashville, October 16th, 2008 --- Orleans & Friends perform at the 1st annual "Rock the Power, 70s Style" concert to benefit You Have the Power - a Nashville-based non-profit serving victims of violent crime and providing chidren's advocacy. In a 3-hour, all-hits show, an expanded Orleans band backed Jimi Jamison, John Cafferty & "Tunes" (Beaver Brown Band), Joe Lynn Turner (formerly of Deep Purple / Rainbow), Joe Bouchard (formerly of Blue Oyster Cult), Melissa Manchester and John Ford Coley, along with playing their own hits.
Nashville favorite Jonell Mosser, who sang backups along with Kathie Baillie and Linda Davis, steps to the forefront here to deliver this impassioned version of Gladys Knight & the Pips' "Midnight Train to Georgia".
