if you dont lock your arms it doesn't count as a pull up in my opinion. You'll get a lot stronger a lot quicker if you put that extra bit of effort in and go all the way down. If you don't you're not working you're back muscles hard enough.

Worst pull up form I've ever seen. You don't even go Half way down on some. Need FULL EXTENSION

with your technnique you are protecting the shoulders from injury. But I think you can go down a little bit more. good video!
