  • This occurs because if two equal opposite parts come together, they will become whole but these opposing parts negate each other. So lets look at the concept of existence. We have matter and space. For now, let's avoid dark matter and look at space just as nothingness. So we have the concept of everything. We have existence and the anti-existence which is the space between. The paradox here is that EVERYTHING must include NOTHING to exist :)

  • My views of God are atypical and with this I have to ask, what is the difference between God and Consciousness? I can sum everything in existence into two things: Consciousness/Matter... From those two we also have Intention/Product. Intention with action (creation) becomes product. Sorry if it seems like I'm babbling. When it comes to Quantum Physics Zero is a paradox itself. In a math sense, it represents the absence of value but from a philosophical view it can be used to represent the whole

  • EVERYTHING IS NOTHING , ITS UR CHOICE TO READ FROM FRONT OR BACK

  • when you theroize god is zero but when i do iput one in front of thousant zero. can you create something from nothing. he who created something from nothing is god.if you can create something from nothing.i will agree with you.can you imagine a universe without ant kind energy .he who filled energy in empty ness is god

  • 0.000 000 005 m Width

    200 000 000 m Length

you get down to the size of about an atom, i mean if you wanted to keep going

  • @Lodatzor Yes, and you just explained my viewpoint as well. I only disrespect someone else religion or belief if they are doing the same to someone else or myself. Its a basic instinct of any human being, we can't do anything against it. Again, I'm happy to find someone like you, someone that takes time to realize more of the world.

  • That's my assertion, and while I may respect the right of anyone to differ with me, I am not required to respect the person or the argument that actually DOES differ. If someone were to claim that the sky is green because they read it in a holy book, then I will not respect their belief, even though I respect that they are perfectly entitled to hold it.

Does that explain my position any better? :)

  • It's a tricky matter, and I agree with you also that no-one has the right to demand of someone that they believe as anyone else does; which is another black mark against religion, which attempts to do exactly that.

But because religious belief virtually always colours and dictates behaviours, attitudes and personal philosophies, this means that anyone engaging in such is no more valid or useful than doing so based upon belief in Santa Claus.

To progress, we must stop following this course.

  • Neither of us claim to have knowledge of the matter of God's existence (or nonexistence), which I believe is the only legitimate stance to take on the matter.

But because religion, inherently, demands that such knowledge is a) attainable and b) has already been attained at some point in the past, and thus makes claims about morality, reality and the origins of both based upon a flawed (and logically absurd) premise.

Hence my declaration that religion (and any such speculation) to be pointless.

  • @BrBoomr

Then let me respond and say that you demonstrate a remarkably advanced grasp of English, and the concepts in question, for someone of your age. I'm not saying that to attempt to patronize you on the basis of your age, but merely to say that given that piece of information, I find your posts all the more impressive. :)

But, I still maintain that what I have said about religion is true. ;) Yes, you're absolutely correct in that you and I are agnostic atheists... (cont)
