  • That's dillusional thinking. I can jump out of a plane without a parachute and yell, "open parachute." The parachute won't open if there ain't one strapped. Back to the drawing board.

  • Fun story Mike. It's so valuable to work as a team. I've found that there is a limit to how much any one leader can do, at some point they need other people's help and that's much easier to accomplish if they have a great team.

  • You just said it is common sense and explained how you intuitively though about it. You did not provide any empirical evidence. Diffusion of responsibility happens often, as proved by the Ringelmann rope experiment and a bunch of other studies. This is some "common sense" from my personal experiences: In basketball it is a lot more demanding playing 2 on 2 than it is playing 5 on 5 and even more demanding playing 1 on 1 because the fewer players the more effort is required from you as an indi...
