  • this wasnt on the live london dvd :( i love it so much - makes me cry!!

  • I think 63.920 can't play it like Sambora.

  • Ticko and Richie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oh my God!

  • @Tapiola2007 I get your point though and I agree, it is not all about shredding. There are many guitarist that i dont like for example Karl Logan(Manowar) which is only about speeding. All the best to you to :).

  • God bless the band!

  • @ballefjongmanne I wasn't looking for an argument - we both agree Richie is great. YouTube sucks sometimes when 500 characters just isn't enough to get a message across. Those are all great influences you named. All the best!

  • @Tapiola2007 Are you shitting me? My standards? I love stones, clapton, jeff beck, page, bernie marsden and so on and on and on. I grew up playing BB king and clapton on guitar with my father. Im f**king born in the blues.

  • @ballefjongmanne Oh dear, you seem to think that shredding is the holy grail of guitar playing. While technique has its place in playing, it's not everything. Touch, feel, musicality, emotion, good songs and timing are all essential is establishing a legend. Richie checks all those boxes. By your standard, we might as well not listen to the likes of George Harrison, John Lennon, Keith Richards, Chuck Berry, BB King and on and on...

  • @Tapiola2007 I believe many guitarist who know him from bon jovi would consider him mediocre. If you listen to the solos/guitarpplaying in livin in a prayer, you give love..... there is really nothing special about richies guitar playing. In dry country he really shreds it.

  • @ballefjongmanne Not quite sure why you would think Richie Sambora is underrated. I'd say he's widely recognised as a card-carrying legend! Top tens and best guitarist polls are a waste of time. The true test is Richie's sound and music was integral to a whole generation (and is still going strong)!
