Madan Mohan migrated from Calcutta in 1950 and was offered to render music for 2 movies at the same time Aankhen and Ada. Both movies proved to be very popular and the music and songs were hit at the time which stamped the ever popularity of so called King of Ghazals which he rendered in later years.It was sheer pity that he died at an early age.

Yes it was Madan Mohan's first film,as told by my father.Devendra Goyal ji and Shekhar ji were both friends of my father incidentally.(Mukesh ji is our relative too).One day MM,DG,Shekhar ji and my father went to Marine Drive.Shekhar ji said that Mukesh ji is the best singer and wanted him to sing this song for him..and so it was done.Shekhar ji sang this song to my father...
