  • outstanding lighting in your video. Thumbs UP!

  • @helipassion Thanks for the feedback and noticing the lighting. You're the first to acknowledge it :)

  • My batteries just arrived.. Is this mod safe to use with FRSky DIY module installed? And The LCD backlight from Hobbyking?

  • @gtidonavan I don't have the LCD Kit on mine but I do have the FrSky DIY Installed. I don't see why it wouldn't work. Many people have all three. Just take your time and make sure you visit the rcmodelreviews website and have a read through his explanation of this mod.

  • I have the ER9X firmware installed in which you can set the low voltage alarm to anything you want (4 volts for example). So I could probably just install this battery without putting in the extra resistor. I didn't even know that a 3s lipo could damage the Tx because the voltage is too high. Will have to think about getting this battery and replace my current 3s tx lipo.

  • @TheDyess If you're running ER9X then there is no need for the resister at all. I've had a number of reports about 3s lipos causing damage to the 9X. For what its worth my 9X with this mod runs like a dream. I only charge it once ever couple of months or so, it's a great mod that RCModelReviews came up with.

    1. I Don't yet know of anyone trying these holders.

    2. I Don't know as I don't have an RC unit.

    3. Maybe. But as with all connectors, it's up to yourself and not a 'battery connection investigation team' I guess...

  • @philbx1 Has anybody tried these holder? Do they fit the battery compartment and are the connections secure?

  • @SaToMojo It really doesn't matter at all. I'm using 1/4watt for mine.

  • i found the answer with ur next video.. thnx...& BTW i did thumb up & subscribe.

But still i wander if ur 8.2k resistor is a 1/4 watt or 1w?

I need to buy a new Eurgle 9x because of a 3s lipo that screwed my electronics.
