the precision of this piece is simply put as marvelous! Its a shame that is only know relevance is to the movie Dracula, which don't get me wrong is a very well made film.

He was talking about the complex part where Karl Richter uses a lot the pedals. And obviously faustfood doesn't now there are not pedals like this on a piano.

J.S. Bach was known to be a virtuoso in the use of these pedals with all the organ keyboards by the way!

My first time seeing Richter on video.

My jaw is still in the floor.

Simply beautiful and amazing and well done Mr. Richter.

Richter is so talented if you look at the video when he's watching his assistant when his assistant moves he's paying more attention to his assistant more than he pays attention to his own keys but his memory and hands just keep going not missing a beat.

I have praised Richter for his conducting of Bach's SMP, but this is the first recording of his keyboard performance which I have heard. I must say that I also applaud and envy his ability in performance. I will listen to as much of him as I can find!
