Thanks for breaking down the sticking. I always loved this groove and saw Steve do it on the Buddy Rich Dvd.. i was'nt positive of the sticking. Thanks for laying it down.

thanks for that quick responce! My main problem is living in the middle of no where, no tutors, I would love lessons I am a working drummer but need to polish up my techniques the double stroke with my left is weak, I will certainly look up those suggestions.

Hi, thanks for the kind comments,
there are certain techniques you can use, push pull, moellar, speedo etc but the sort of exercises you might practace are double beat (do youtube search for double beat exercise) or work through books like Stick control with a good teacher.
at higher tempo I am letting the bounce of the head do half the work...
