I spent 9 years as a reservist, i resigned because new officers were out to get us rather than stand up for us. I still work in the private sector doing high level security work and recently requested reinstatement into the SAPF as a reservist, with my training and years of experience i would be very useful to any station, I was told NO! i was from the old police force and therefore not the right material. SAD INDEED!

Yes the moratorium was lifted 9 December 2009. However, I have not found 1 Police station in Gauteng that are currently training new reservists. Anyone know of such a station? Alberton, maybe?

The hold on all application for reservists has been lifted, i stand to be corrected but it think training takes about 9 months to complete, all interested to consider joining !

They were shooting a R4 from the passenger window, and when they stop the officer riding passenger climbs out and fires more shots. It is not all to clear but is there.
