I generally don't like philip glass but this is just good. Everytime I listen to it though I expect a baroque chord progression and it does a more modern one at the end (thats becuase I listen to Handel all day everyday). I really like this performance.

@TheGrimSim read the violin score, circular breath, and there we go!

@Egglay There is a school of Saxophone playing called the "French School" which emphasizes on notes and vibrato, instead of sound or excess emotions.
Actually, she sounds a lot like a violin in this arrangement (because it's transposed from Violin and also because of her technique). This is not your typical clarinet concerto

why play the sax, when you play the sax like a clarinet?
-
circular breathing?
-
I read about her circular breathing in the description, then I'm like "ORLY"
Then I watched her at 0:34.
Ms. Dickson, Is there any chance you had this arrangement published, or is there another way that I could get hold of a copy? I would love to do this on a recital. I am a saxophone student at the University of Nebraska (USA) This is a really excellent arrangement and a great job playing, such pure tone and musicality. I loved it. Thank you
