Yeah. I think this is my all time favorite Vangelis melody. And that says a lot!
The melody is in the movie several times, but slightly different.

@KhelBlack yes there is in the movie .when cristoforo colombus expiates his sins in the monastery.But not all the track is present in the movie

Magnifica música. Me transporta a el mismo instante en que desde la Pinta, la Niña y la Santa María se diviso tierra firme, ese instante tuvo que ser mágico; como estos sonidos. Que maravilla. Ese viaje cambió el mundo, es una de las mayores gestas jamás realizadas por el hombre. Que grandes aventureros fueron nuestros antepasados.
A mi personalmente me hace sentir orgullo de ser Español.
