Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - Two Kindsa Love (and a bit more)

One of my favourite all-time Aust TV moments. JSBX on Recovery (jeez I loved that show, at least b4 the jumped the shark).

Unfortunately, got a weird interlace problem on capture, and they cut it off before you got to see Dylan at the end in complete meltdown. He could not believe what he'd just witnessed and was, literally, speechless (not a common thing for Mr Lewis).

Saw them live in Athens in 1997.. Still the best concert I've ever been to

@mosconire - oh yeah, they are astounding live. I've not seen a band play like them, so tight yet the music is nice and loose. They were so together as a band, they seemed to anticipate the beat, but together, it's hard to put into words, but they'd jump on the beat. They also wear a lot of skin tight leather and look so baaaad, I just want them to tour again. And again, and again, forever.

Oh man, I'm so glad I looked this up. I remember sitting hungover in my loungeroom when this came on and my head just about popped with delight. Always been a major fan of this band and this is the first time I actually saw him play the theremin, it just blew my mind. And so sweet all those innocent Aussie teenagers sitting there wondering WTF they were witnessing - 'twas genius, my little lovelies, pure musical genius, with all the raw sex, power & attitude you can put in front of a mic.
