On the occasion of the dedication of the Malone-Hood Plaza at Foster Auditorium on the University of Alabama campus, George Daniels did an interview with students in his multimedia journalism class. The entrance to Foster Auditorium is where African American students were turned back by Governor George Wallace in June 1963. On November 3, 2010, the University sponsored a day of festivities to salute the late Vivian Malone Jones, Dr. James Hood and Autherine Lucy Foster In this particular clip. Daniels talks about the significance of the events of November 3, 2010 when Autherine Lucy Foster, James Hood and relatives of Vivian Malone Jones were invited back to the Tuscaloosa campus.
