Why should you never never let your musician-friends suffering from tinitus (I think thats what it's called) borow your phone? Because if they reach the answering machine, and it says leave a message after the beep, they'll never be able to do it, because people suffering from tinitus hear this beeping sound all the time.

basicly, "Why shouldn't you lend your cellphone to a musician with tinitus (sp?)" - "because if they get an answering machine and am told to leave a message after the tone, they wont ever hang up."
