Kubelwagens are the pinnacle of German WW2 jeep like technologies. It is superior to the jeep in all ways but one and that is the jeeps 4 wheel drive. However even without this the Kubel was cheap, easy, and quick to manufacture in massive numbers. It had comfortable seating for its passengers, it was simple and easy to maintain under any conditions, and its specially streamlined base allowed it to travel through thick snow, ice, mud, sand, dirt, and water with little to no drag.
