im going to have to respectfully disagree. i think sparta stuck to the blueprint of at the drive in for the most part. mars volta is on some experimental tip. which isnt bad, but its not that impressive?

im glad they left but for different reasons....just so i could hear sleepercar....mars volta is shit...i just saw them like 2 weeks ago....this particular song sucks from sparta but there are some jems...relationship of command on the other hand is a masterpiece and would love to hear it live with all of them once they make up.....they still talk anyway...yeah this song is dumbed down lol sounds like shit like green day lololol fuck greenday (tangent)

I don't really think Mars Volta are shit. To be honest I find them to be much more talented, and a hell of a lot more interesting than anything this band has done. Don't they dare to be different?

yeah they dare to be very very different...but i just feel like they almost had it happening and then lost sight....it was good at first then its like some one who got lost driving and ended up in the wrong city or something....never went any where.....i tried to sit through the show and was still amazed at their stage presence and willingness to experiment with sounds...but i respect your opinion ...thanks for responding
