Who is Jim Rogers and why does he say America's next economic crisis is 1-3 years away?

I believe him. We are headed for another 'bubble' with all of our debt combined with no manufacturing. The middle class has been shattered. What might save us is to go back to our foundingl patterns & beliefs. We need to erase the last fifty years of liberal policies. Lifelong welfare, big gov't, insane spending & over-regulation of the private sector. Atlas Shrugged shiws us an idea of the Fed's micro-managing everything! It's all socialist garbage. "Rogers" is painfully correct!

@1czelaya The earlier warning and truth its far better then when things happen.
Roger deserve credit for that, Chicago professor's statement of the debt is shocking, its not 62 trillion, Greenspen flatter refused the fed to be audit and said, the gorvmt has no such right

A "developed" nation shd be setting the EXAMPLE for others to follow.
A reference standard.
That nation shd have almost zero unemployment, growing healthily, NOT in serious debt, and everyone shd have gone thru FULL education. That's the bare basics of what a 'DEVELOPED' NATION shd be .......at the very least.
America is merely a DEVELOPING military superpower.
Nothing more.
hahaha...only 30% Americans hv passports. WHAT A LAUGH.
Sounds typically 3rd world.

@1czelaya I'm not sure he'd want to come back from Singapore to do that. He loves it here and believes that the future is in Asia... that's why he moved here. But, I agree... the USA needs this guy in a key White House position that has real power and authority to make changes. But they will never let that happen anyway. The military industrial complex doesn't want guys like this.
Jim Rogers seemed to make too much sense when I first heard of him a couple of years ago. Then, I found out that he's a student of Austrian Economics. Hmmm, no one wonder this guy has been able to do so well in the market. He see's through all the charades of government and Wall Street.
I would love to see Jim Rogers offered a cabinet appointment at the White House. I'm sure one of the first things he wold do is fire everyone in this government mess and hold people accountable.
