Beginning of early 80's they had everything(?) computerized at Arrrivals. It used to take about an hour to get thru evrything, but after computerizing it took 3 hours and plus to pass the passport control and the custom. Hopefully things have changed. :)

@mohsap2 Ugly video, maybe you're right, but you can't deny the old airport was like this (is it still working? I don't know), I've been there many times, and often there were this much people. I have lived fe Qahera setta saneen, so I think I know what you mean. Salam.

I just got back from egypt on 9/29/08,I was at the Cairo airport and it was not that crazy!,not to say that once I left the airport the traffic wasn't CRAZY!! The egyptians just drive they don't follow any rules, THEY JUST GO! The Egyptian people are funny,I had the best trip of my life. Cairo never sleeps,there is always life and action no matter what time of day or night!There are more people and cars in cairo then NEW YORK.

I were in Cairo in 1999 and i remember that the Aeroport expecially the arrival Terminal sucks to death
