  • I only got to see a tiny part of this. It was beautiful, though. Stupid Clouds covered the moon, so I could only barely see it.

  • dude, u r correct! the next lunar eclipse (the big one!) is gonna happen in december 2010

  • Realy good video but get a tripod for the camra its get kinda annoying when you watch someone as they try to hold a the camra still and it move around a lot

  • okay to let u know u are right about it happenin 3 times in 07 but its unatural for that to normaly happen and usally a lunar eclipes doesnt happen till every 3-4 years and it was on the news sayin it was a lunar eclipes not a solar eclipes cuz if it was a solar eclipes u wouldnt be able to watch it unless u had special gear.

    just settin things straight

    dont hate me

  • i saw this i live in new jersey and it waas pretty damn beatiful.... i love it.. It makes wanna go into space and look at evry thing out there...except this morning on the new it was just blue in New York. But it was read and tht little thumbnail white. its pretty cool tho.

  • Dumbass. The earth goes between the moon and the sun making a shadow of the earth on the moon changing the colour.

  • from wikipedia

L=0: Very dark eclipse. Moon almost invisible, especially at mid-totality.

L=1: Dark Eclipse, gray or brownish in colouration. Details distinguishable only with difficulty.

L=2: Deep red or rust-colored eclipse. Very dark central shadow, while outer edge of umbra is relatively bright.

L=3: Brick-red eclipse. Umbral shadow usually has a bright or yellow rim.

L=4: Very bright copper-red or orange eclipse. Umbral shadow has a bluish, very bright rim.

  • A planet didnt cover nothin..... The earths shadow was what made it dark.

  • no the next total lunar eclipse is in 2010

  • the moon wasnt red it was saturn, the planet that covered the moon.
