it says cannot run needs itunes and quicktime???

@TiberzNerozCOD this was shown when ipods and iphones didn't run ios 5 and when itunes was different, so it might not work correctly anymore for some users, and yes for this specific method you will need itunes, do not think you need quicktime.

@tsoba111 yes iExplorer has been very unreliable lately, it has failed to keep up with new itunes updates, i had to downgrade my itunes in the past for this to work. its much easier if you have a jailbroken device, that or you can try to use iFunBox, or other transfer softwares that don't require to be jailbroken.
